Terac Workflow Structure
Terac uses a hierarchical structure to organize research activities.Organizations
Organizations
Researchers can create multiple organizations to manage work across
different institutions. Access can be shared, allowing multiple
collaborators to create, edit, and launch projects and campaigns.
Projects
Projects
Each organization contains projects that represent specific research
objectives or studies.
Campaigns
Campaigns
Within projects, researchers create campaigns that generate deployable
interview links for participant data collection.
Organizations
As a researcher, you can create, edit, and track credit usage within organizations.Creating Organizations
To create an organization, click “[Your Name]‘s Organization” at the top left hand of the screen and select “New Organization”. Name your organization to your preferences.
Editing Organizations
To edit an organization, click the “Settings” tab and customize to your liking.
Tracking Credit Usage Within Organizations
To track credit usage, click the “Usage” tab.
Projects
As a researcher, you can create and edit projects.Creating Projects
To create a project, click the “New” button on the right side and select “New Project”.
Editing Projects
To edit a project, click the “Settings” tab and customize to your liking.
Campaigns
As a researcher, you can create, publish, analyze insights, generate reports, and edit campaigns.Creating Campaigns
To create a campaign, import an existing survey, upload visual/audio stimuli, change the interview mode (structured vs. conversational), and/or interface with the discussion guide chat to make an interview from scratch. You’ll see a sidebar pop up on the right, allowing you to add, delete, and edit questions/sections to your liking.
Publishing Campaigns
To publish your campaign, you must create a discussion guide first. After doing so, click the “Publish” tab. You can test your interview before deploying it, copy the link to the real interview, and recruit participants by publicly listing your survey or using Terac internal sourcing.
Analyzing Insights
To analyze insights, click the “Analyze” tab to interface with the chat and ask questions about what your interviewees said. To view individual responses on a question-by-question level, click the “Interviews” tab.
Generating Reports
To generate reports, click the “Report” tab and select “Generate Your First Report”.
Editing Campaigns
To edit campaigns, click the “Settings” tab and customize to your liking.
